D. Trinidad Hunt
D. Trinidad Hunt has over 30 years of experience in the area of curriculum writing and program development. As cofounder of Élan Enterprises LLC and Élan Asia Pacific,Trin has developed and delivered organizational programs for business leaders for such companies as Pepsi Cola, Frito Lay and Sprint both nationally and internationally. As cofounder of World Youth Network International (WYN) in the U. S., Australia an Canada, she designed, developed and delivered curricula for students, parents and teachers. The resultant effect has been education for the entire community.
As a result of her expertise in business and leadership, Trin was invited to the The People’s Republic of China in 1996 and to India in 1997. In 2000, she was the keynote speaker at the Pan-Pacific Southwest Asia Women’s Association’s annual convention in the Cook Islands which welcomed delegates from 23 countries. Trin has hosted her own radio talk show out of the east coast.
Trin’s book, Learning to Learn: Maximizing Your Performance Potential, was the Self-Help Book of the Year by the North American Book Dealers Exchange and went on to become a national bestseller. It is also used by different learning courses and as a text in various universities and community colleges. TheOperator’s Manual for Planet Earth – An Adventure for the Soulwas published by Hyperion Press. Both books have been translated into 5 different languages. Trin’s newest leadership books are Wisdom’s Way –The Art of the True Leader and Roadmap to Success.
As a former classroom teacher, Trin’s love of children has never waned. The more coaching and training she did withexecutives and managers, the more deeply she believed that leadership education should begin in the early years.
Knowing that dreams must be married to action, Trin set to work on the monumental task of designing curriculum for K-12. She organized each grade levelwithin theIQ, EQ, SQ Modelä, her signature leadership program. Today her programs are in over 250 schools nationally and internationally.
